The photographer’s brief

The photographer’s brief

This is one of the most important pieces of information the event manager can give a photographer. The more details you can provide the easier the day flows for everyone.

The brief should include:

  • The coordinators name and contact number.
  • Location details, parking etc
  • A time line of the day’s events.
  • How many people at the event.
  • Do you want everyone photographed.
  • Are there group shots.
  • How big is the largest group.
  • Names of VIP’s and speakers
  • Will there be a Media Wall.
  • When are the images required.

So if you want your day to go well and run like clockwork, don’t forget the advice above. For more information come and speak with Anthony, HOMEPIX, the HOME of great PIX.

Mobile Studio for Corporate

Portrait Photography

A portable studio is the quickest way to have your team photographed. I can come to your office with the lighting and backdrops and photograph your staff quickly without too much disruption.

Some tips to pass onto the staff, make sure the men are clean-shaven and shirts are ironed. Women ask them to have a little make-up and preferably hair tied up or tied back. Have a time sheet and allocate 10-15mins per person, so that the day flows smoothly.

Finally, consider what background you would like. A can make the background blurred or sharp. I can bring a plain background white, blue, etc. or we can use a wall or bookcase.
